What does “two-week-rule” mean now? +
The familiar label is retained for urgent suspected-cancer practice. In England the former two-week-wait performance standard was replaced by the 28-day Faster Diagnosis Standard. This is a service standard, not permission to wait when clinical urgency is greater; arrangements differ across UK nations and local services.
